Welcome to Everglades adventures waterfowl page. We have been in operation since 1989 offering hunts for wild game in Florida.
We are a full-time guide service dedicated to our clients. We were the third guide service to begin operations in Southern Florida. The owner, Captain Mark Clemons has been professionally guiding hunting charters (full time) since 1985. He is a native of South Florida and has hunted and fished in South Florida for over 45 years. We currently handle over a thousand hunters every year for all our hunts combined.
PRIVATE LANDS ONLY
Everglades Adventures KNOWS how to keep ducks coming!
Our Wildlife management program has even allowed some clients to limit out on birds in just
Our operations are conducted on private wetlands located in Hendry County, Florida. These properties consist of several hundred acres of above ground impoundments.
These areas are managed for waterfowl. We have Japanese Millet, Golden Millet, Browntop Millet, Chufas, Sesbania as well as Smartweed and Walter's Millet planted which we flood during the duck hunting season. Hydrilla and Coontail are utilized for aquatics in the deeper water areas. These areas have their own water control structures and pumps for water control.
How we Hunt Our Waterfowl on Private Lands
We have dozens of blinds located on the dykes surrounding the impoundments.
All our private land blinds are permanent blinds with cane grown in place for cover.
They have chairs and decoys located in each blind and most are set up for two to four hunters as well
These hunts are generally EXCELLENT duck hunts. We have had shooters limit on birds from these blinds in thirty minutes. We generally have a large concentration of ducks in our areas.
Season dates are generally for early teal the last week of September and the general season starts the weekend before Thanksgiving and ends in late January
Don't forget to check out our Everglades Adventures Facebook page which keeps up with the current as well as the past several years of duck hunting seasons.
